Pro-Sound & Stage Lighting – Kid In The Background was initially formed out of a necessity to improve the local music scene in small town Beckley, WV. As such, co-founders Jamie Smith and Jason Lockart began working together as promoters / event planners / and pro-sound technicians. With a collective 25 yrs experience – the pro sound crew at Kid In The Background holds YOUR EVENT to the same standards that former collaborators — Electric Light Orchestra, Lil Wayne, the Keg Dwellers, Joe Buck Yourself, the Koffin Kats, and Many More! — might expect.
